In depth
Most of our work starts with a site and doesn't stop there. Josephine Library is a good example — a theme build that turned into a maintenance relationship, and then into a custom application when the library needed something their CMS couldn't do.
We took Mark Wyner's custom design comps and built them into a responsive WordPress theme, with a CMS the library's own staff use to keep events, announcements, and content current. The styling stays warm and legible — a public library site has to work for everyone who walks in. We've handled monthly support and maintenance ever since, keeping it secure and current for the community.
Building on that relationship, the library needed something a content site couldn't do. Families register, log in securely, and track their reading through the summer, while staff watch participation in real time. We built custom authentication and time-logging on top of WordPress, again working from Mark Wyner's designs. It now runs every year and has become a cornerstone of the library's community outreach.
